203 – Talampaya & Ischigualasto

A 4-day programm based in La Rioja City. It includes a full-day trip to Parque Nacional Talampaya and Parque Provincial Ischigualasto (Valle de la Luna, San Juan). DAY	Day's Detail
1	Arrival in La Rioja, welcome transfer, and check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
2	Full-day excursion to Talampaya National Park and Valle de la Luna. Departure from La Rioja at 7:00 a.m. after breakfast, heading first to Ischigualasto Provincial Park. Travel the 40 km internal circuit in our own vehicles, a journey of approximately 3 hours showcasing iconic formations such as the Worm, the Bowling Court, the Submarine, the Mushroom, and the Red Cliffs. After lunch, continue to Talampaya National Park. At the visitor center, guests may choose from several experiences, the most popular being Circuit 1: Talampaya Canyon, a 2.5-hour ride in park vehicles through the riverbed and beneath the towering red canyon walls. Highlights include petroglyphs, native flora and fauna, and remarkable formations shaped by erosion, such as the Faces, the Sentinel, the Wise King, the Gothic Cathedral, the Condor, the Tower, and the Monk. Return to La Rioja at approximately 8:00 p.m. Overnight stay at hotel with breakfast.
3	Short excursion to Quebrada and Dique de Los Sauces.
4	Breakfast and departure transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
