Departure at 8:00 am – Return at 7:00 pm. Leaving La Rioja and heading north along National Route 38, we visit the neighboring city of Catamarca, where we explore its historic downtown area and its Cathedral. We then tour the surroundings of the city, visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of the Valley and El Jumeal Reservoir. We also ascend the scenic route Cuesta del Portezuelo, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the valley, until reaching the Hostería, where cafeteria service and restrooms are available.
