Travel through La Costa Riojana, visiting picturesque villages at the foot of the Velasco range, including Sanagasta, Agua Blanca, Chuquis, Anillaco, and Aimogasta, cradle of olive growing in Argentina. Continue into Catamarca along the Ruta del Adobe, with stops at historic shrines, chapels, and adobe monuments between Tinogasta and Fiambalá. Overnight in Fiambalá. |
3 | Fiambalá – Cortaderas – Los Seismiles – Fiambalá. After breakfast, head toward the Andes through the scenic Quebrada de las Angosturas and the Valle de Chaschuil. Pass through Pastos Largos, La Coipa, and the remote mountain outpost of Cortaderas before continuing along the route to Paso San Francisco, with impressive views of several volcanoes exceeding 6,000 meters, including Inca Huasi and San Francisco. Return to Fiambalá in the afternoon. |
